Formed in Gillingham, in the south of United Kingdom in 2020, The Zac Schulze Gang is an electrifying blues rock trio which, after working tirelessly around their country and doing several international tours, now present their debut album. As its tittle shows, the trio does not beat around the bush, but they go straight to the most aggressive blues rock that sticks like a knife in the ears of those who listen to them.

Although the incendiary solos displayed by their leader, guitar player and singer Zac Schulze stand out, after a first listening you will realize that the trio is something more, it is a well-oiled engine where Ant Greenwell on bass and Ben Schulze on drums take on a special importance to form a compact team where melody and performing strength perfectly match.

Although its beginnings lie in alternative punk rock circuits, Zac always had in mind to add his undeniable energy to a blues context. It was when they were invited to participate in Rory Gallagher’s Tribute Festival in 2022, when doors opened for them enabling them to enter on the UK blues circuit. Nowadays they still are true warriors who, besides playing in countless clubs and venues, also are requested to perform in major concerts like Eric Clapton’s Crossroad Festival, as well as sharing stage with artists like Eddie 9V, Samantha Fish, Nine Below Zero, Aynsley Lister, Band Of Friends or The Cinelli Brothers, as well as to win the UK Blues Awards as best emerging band in 2024.
