Italian singer and guitarist Maurizio Best Bastetti has just published a new album Bastetti leads with deep conviction his own trio including Michael Lösch on piano and Hammond organ and Enrico Tommasini on drums Both musicians get the perfect sound to back Maurizio with very good taste elegance The album includes nine songs, six original ones and three covers coming from B B King, Robert Johnson and Roscoe Gordon The own songs are very well conceived and strongly show a good rewarding dose of emotional human feelings All cuts have a rich varied high stylistic and well diversified level, which proves they are gifted with enough talent to make people enjoy listening to the whole cd Easygoing self-assured music, performed on an unpretentious unambiguous way to delight everyone who listens to them Musicians are not ambitious and their principal aim is not to prove or show their musical abilities They only wish to have fun with the music they play which, so far, is their passion and give pleasure and joy to people who get the cd
