Reverendo Igor Garcia formed his Reverendos in 1997 together with his right hand man and guitar player Alvaro Martinez Also mention piano player and singer Igor Garcia had previously belonged to a group called The Hollers and, on the other hand, Alvaro Martinez had been member of The Bullyson Blues Band Both decided to join forces to accomplish their dream, which was to let people know and give visibility to West Coast blues, including in their repertoire jump, rock and roll, swing, jive, rhythm and blues or Kansas City sound, but always keeping the genuine flavor of forties and fifties combos To complete the band Igor and Alvaro recruited Victor Martin on double bass and Javier Caballero on drums This is their third album and the best work up to date The band sounds cool and good teamed, with stage presence and knowledge enough to surprise and impress listeners with ten original and sophisticated own songs Since the opening cd song Let’s Vodoo, I am sure that if Cab Calloway listened to it, he would rise from the dead to exclaim something like, These are my guys!!, up to the last album song, The Music Will Continue Until We Die, Professor Longhair would certainly have paid a good sum of money for its rights, the cd is a continuous pleasure for your senses
