Singer and guitar player Iker Piris is undoubtedly one of the standout names on the Spanish blues scene. Gifted with a powerful, incisive voice and remarkable guitar technique, his talent is beyond question. He discovered the blues at a very young age and, since that moment on, he devoted his heart and soul to this musical style, leading various projects like The Románticos or his actual band, Iker Piris & His Dual Electras, which features a French rhythm section with Abdell B. Bop (Nico Duportal, Junior Watson, Lynwood Slim, Duke Robillard) as double bass player and drummer Andy Martin (Chris Ruest, Shawn Pittman).

One of his side projects is The Donkey Riders, a trio of renowned musicians, featuring Jon Aira on guitar, Andy Martin on drums and Iker Piris himself on guitar and vocals. With them Iker moves easily into rock and roll and even garage rock paths, without forgetting North Mississippi Hill Country and roadhouse blues influences, giving free rein to his most wild side, thanks to biting guitars, raw vocal harmonies and a straightforward biting sound.

The album presents eight original tracks where the trio showcases their most genuine untamed face that will catch the audience by their powerful sheer performance and commitment, something that will not leave listeners indifferent.

The recording also features a top horn section in two tracks: the legendary well sought Texas Horns, with Mark “Kaz” Kazanoff on tenor sax, John Mills on baritone sax, and Al Gomez on trumpet.
