Daniel Castro is an accomplished guitarist, an uninhibited singer and a bright composer Daniel has been influenced by Albert Collins because undoubtedly he follows his path Since 1995 Daniel has played along San Francisco Bay area, always giving the dynamic strength that runs in his blood with a passionate overflowing energy He has shared stage with several great musicians like John Mayall, Roy Rogers, Dave Mason, Elvin Bishop, The Staple Singers or Charlie Musselwhite Daniel Castro’s new band includes Johnny Yu on bass and David Perper on drums They have been playing together since 2012 and it seems things go well for them, so this album becomes a good example Thirteen faultless songs with a powerful sound performed with a total conviction I must admit The Daniel Castro Band has pleasantly impressed me and has confirmed my suspicions we are facing an excellent band that not only has an excellent sound but also will certainly surprise you
