Randy McAllister is certainly one of the most recognized artists of actual roots blues scene. Born in Texas, when he was nine and following his father’s footsteps, he started to play drums. At twenty, while he was living in Massachusetts, he discovered and learned to play harmonica, thanks to the legendary “Earring George” Mayweather who taught him all the instrument secrets. By the time he came back to Texas in 1992, Randy had become a more than a remarkable harmonica player, as well as a soulful singer and an outstanding songwriter, who immediately caught the hearts of people.

Along his career he has recorded for different record labels like British JSP, Severn and now for Reaction Records. This new album will satisfy listeners’ expectations, thanks to Randy’s special skills to successfully combine acoustic blues with the soul spirit, he tastefully displays along the delicious album songs, besides showing he also is a good composer and a brilliant storyteller.

Ten own compositions plus a song coming from Sam Cooke where Randy shows his full potential, ranging from the most intimate and spiritual poetry to the performing strength, he displays in each song. Randy McAllister’s vocals and harmonica are joined by the guitars of Brandon Hudspeth and Howard Mahan.

Undoubtedly his songs will deeply move all those people who like the most contemporary roots blues, thanks to Randy McAllister’s sincere approach and vibrant spirit.
