We are facing to an excellent cd, produced, directed and recorded by singer and saxo player Mike Clark In this cd this Vancouver coming musician is backed by some of the most popular canadian blues musicians such as guitar players Amos Garret, Johnny V and Steve Pineo, who has shared with Mike cd production The cd gathers blues, jump and some country ballads such as Down Where The River Meets The Sea You will also find some Clark’s own compositions he has done alone of together with other musicians and other beautiful ‘pearls’ such as Eddie Vinson’s Kidney Stew or Ivory Joe Hunter’s Since I Meet You Baby Also mention Clark’s own composition Saxman that gives title to the cd, a precious ‘funky-gumbo’ with delighful horn and vocal arrangements Mike Clark reveals himself as a good singer and an excellent saxo player
