After the Flood is the name of the new work that comes from this band led by singer, harmonica player and guitarist Micke Bjorklof It is a mixture of funky rockin’ blues, with several details of New Orleans music The band has done his best to produce this tasty and original recipe that, in fact, will completely satisfy most listeners Despite being deeply influenced by much of the music that is done in Louisiana, all the band members traveled from Europe to New Orleans only get the feel of the music and the genuine sounds of the city After spending some time in New Orleans discovering all its musical secrets, Mike Bjorklof and The Blue Strip decided to record this album, the fifth in his career It brings twelve original songs recorded at Piety Street studios, supervised and produced by Mark Binham, a man who has worked with artists like Dr John, singer, songwriter and guitarist John Mooney, Tab Benoit, John Scofield, Allen Toussaint or Elvis Costello among others This is a unique tasteful work, which could also be qualified as a very aesthetic proposal
