As a result of her stay in USA, Madrid singer and songwriter Chus León found in that country the necessary atmosphere and the needed breeding round to introduce herself in the music world in a more professional way Self-taught in music with influences that come from Billie Holiday to Carole King, María Dolores Pradera or Cecilia, the eight years she lived in USA deeply marked her free and creative spirit She also could share stages with American musicians in different clubs and venues, moving up to the music styles that become the basis of her repertoire Back in Spain, Chus formed the band Oneyda DF With them she has performed more than a hundred shows and recorded three albums so far This last one has been produced by multi-instrumentalist Gito Maletá with the collaboration of Juan Olmos in the mixing and mastering, who also produced her two previous releases The album includes eleven own compositions, six sung in Spanish and five in English but all them with a deep American flavor Let’s wait for the next album of this singer and songwriter, who announces will be a tribute to traditional American blues women such as Bessie Smith or Ma Rainey
