From Norway comes an album by the group V&BT (Vigdis & Blà Tràd), with four experienced musicians who have separately collaborated with other Norwegian artists as well as in a variety of different projects. In 2016 they decided to join forces wishing to create an attractive live show to perform in small clubs, where the contact with the audience is totally essential, as well as selecting a repertoire of high-quality songs.

From the first album song listeners will appreciate the good job of these four musicians and the careful song selection that presents a mixture of blues, blues rock and some pop, which is what they perform live, that have made them to be appreciated by different audiences in their country, who faithfully come to their countless live shows along Norway clubs and small venues.

A faultless production makes this debut album they have just released perfect to communicate all the energy and good work they develop in their live shows, as it includes songs performed live in some of those clubs where they really like to play.

Eleven very well chosen and fine-displayed songs round up an album that, overall, is a fresh, young and beautiful recording, where the musicians communicate the joy they feel when they play and give the best of themselves as musicians and instrumentalists.

V&BT gathers singer Vigdis Haugen who shows her vocal talent and good performing taste, Tom Pettersen on guitar, composition and production, Bjorn Lokling on bass and Christer Persson on drums. For the album they have also counted with some guest musicians.

Although it is not a blues album, the blues underlies some of its songs. Of course, these musicians’ quality and good development deserves to be considered.
