Here comes another ‘greatest hits’ album that comes from great singer with a poweful heartbreaking voice Arzell Hill, aka ZZ Hill He was born in Texas and his family was quite poor He spent a long time singing at Naples church choir His first musical influences outside local church were Sam Cook and Otis Redding After twenty years of travelling and singing along USA, in 1982 he signed for Malaco, which trusted on his possibilities as an extraordinary singer This cd gathers a bunch of hits such as Down Home Blues, an hymn for most southern black people who were forced to abandon their land, for obvious reasons, and travel to the north of the USA
