Zora Young is a marvellous pleasant singer Zora Young who, not just plays blues because she is a versatile artist too Her voice covers and deals with any musical genre, always giving the best of herself with an extreme passion and devotion of what she is doing, as she is a bundle of energy on stage, a bursting irrepressible earthquake In Sunnyland cd, our heroine devotes herself to play the most genuine real Chicago blues, which becomes immediately clear if you take a glance at the names who back her Hubert Sumlin, Sam Burckhardt, Steve Freund, Chuck Parrish, Barrelhouse Chuck Bob Stroger, Kenny Smith and Steve Home Unbelievable!… The ‘cream’ of the best Windy City musicians, all them playing along thirteen priceless incredible urban blues Airway Records label (Sam Burckhardt) have done right on the mark publishing this cd, one of the best ones I have heard on the last months We are facing a delicious work for any blues lover Ah!
