Although he originally comes from Belgrade, singer, guitarist and composer Zed Mitchel has developed an extensive career all over Europe In the middle of the 70’s he founded his own band opening to artists like Deep Purple Focus, Santana, Joe Cooker or BB King among others At that time he also opened a guitar rock school in Belgrade Over the years he has collaborated in several projects with Tina Turner, Phil Collins, Pink Floyd, Eros Ramazzotti or Natalie Cole His guitar taste and knowledge have always been appreciated by big music names which have relied on him to back them on their tours and recordings For this new work Zed has decided to be surrounded by some of the best musicians of German rock scene, featuring thirteen songs based on an intimate blues rock where Mitchell shows his excellent vocal qualities together with a wide range of musical resources, displayed with an extreme good taste and a remarkable guitar technique which has led Zed to be compared to such great artists like Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, Mark Knopfler, Robert Cray or even Peter Green Although this is a not strictly blues album, it deserves to be carefully listened to realize the qualities of this interesting artist
