Zac Harmon is a renowned singer and guitar player born in Jackson, Mississippi, who grew up surrounded by blues music. He has settled now in Texas, where he has developed an intense career. Strongly based on tradition, his style has evolved from the music he used to listen in juke joints to a new one that could be defined as the sophistication of Bobby “Blue” Bland together with intense guitar playing in the path of Freddie King, without forgetting Albert King or Bobby Rush.

With this new recording, Zac gives a close look to all his years of career that have led him to perform all over the world. The album includes twelve songs that communicate the musical richness Harmon has acquired and absorbed over the years, that range from the most traditional blues to soul, funk, gospel or ballads that on his live shows always seduce the audience with the richness of nuances, the performing quality and his stage presence.

“Floreada’s Boy” is the nickname he was known as a child among his family and friends, due to his curiosity and interest in everything. Now Zac wants to remember those childhood years and especially pay homage to his mother in this album, where Harmon is on vocals, guitar and bass, Kingston “Guitarboy” Livingston on guitar, Corey Lacy on keyboards and vocals, Nate “The Bass” Robinson on bass and Gino “LockJohnson” Iglehart on drums, together with a good number of guests and two powerful horn sections. the L.A. Horns and the Texas Horns, which, all together, give shape to a really interesting recording.
