Thanks to his energetic powerful strong way of singing full of vocal chromatic resources, Wilson Williams is really a convincing artist His wide vocal register allows him to sing blues, r&b, ballads and other similar styles but where he really feels at ease is performing soul, soft-soul or neo-soul music which is the kind of music where he feels completely relaxed Swamp Dogg on keyboards and the rest of his band give a perfect elegant backing to stand out the Wilson’s punch and power that probably with other musicians would not have been so evident Dogg and his band really know the kind of arrangements they must play and the exact sound they must give up to get out the best of Wilson as a singer or composer All tunes are Wilson’s own compositions In short, this is a good cd for real soul fans or disco dancers
