If you ask any Whiteboy James fan his opinion about this musician, probably he will answer he is a true legend in West Coast blues world and possibly his answer is right. This solid effective singer, songwriter and harmonica player, is considered an important member of the Southern California blues scene, who has spent more of thirty years struggling for clubs, bars, taverns, lounges, cafes and other similar locations. Whiteboy James And The Blues Express have a personal, different, original, modern and special sound that distinguishes them from other similar bands. The band also pays tribute to many of his mentors, which include among others William Clarke, Hollywood Fats, George ‘Harmonica’ Smith, T-Bone Walker, James Harman, Ike Turner, Rod Piazza, or Big Jay McNeely who have deeply influenced them. In this new work they give us twelve excellent songs that show all his overflowing knowledge, good taste, cleverness, ability, powerful playing and musical energy.
