Nasser Ben Dadoo, also known as “Hat Man” or “White Feet”, is an eclectic musician who combines blues and jazz with different African rhythms and, sometimes, deep dark songs that allow us to know the dimension of an artist who does not want to stay in the most traditional music but, although he is deeply rooted in it, look for new forms of expression.

His career includes collaborations with artists like Blue Side Blues, Djam Deblues, Steven McCallum and Canned Heat. This has given him an extensive experience that has led him to start a solo career, composing his own songs he develops with a lot of swing, groove and rhythm, as well as a good dose of improvisation, which makes him a different and original artist.

Eight own compositions plus the covers of “Keep Your Lamp Trimmed And Burning” coming from Blind Willie Johnson, “Pony Blues” by Charley Patton and “Cairo” by Henry Spaulding, give shape to an album where the blues, whether from Mississippi, Delta or, as he also says, from Chicago, can be found in practically all songs, always with very contemporary arrangements and even world music details, which give to it a quite different dimension from what most listeners are used to listen to, as well as become an interesting discovery.
