Wendy DeWitt is a San Francisco area singer and piano player who gives us her classic performing abilities with thirteen tunes selection including five own compositions Wendy moves between Chicago blues and specially Louisiana blues The cd recording has been supervised by Chicago guitar player Steve Freund who also gives his guitar to Wendy DeWitt’s service In order you can have and idea of how this woman plays piano only say that the great Hadda Brooks gave her the nickname of ‘The Queen of Boogie Woogie’ This is a good cd where Wendy spreads out all her full blues potential and shows us what she is able to do on an acoustic piano only backed by guitar, bass and drums Thiis is a traditional record, with the only aim to make audience enjoy with blues from yesterday, today and forever
