Here comes the debut album of Webster Avenue, a trio formed by three veterans of Nebraska state scene They are singer and guitar player David Webster who, along his career, has performed with musicians like Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley And The Cadillacs, besides working as a requested studio recording musician, bass player Tony Mercadante, who, in his turn, has played and recorded with such great musicians like Otis Blackwell, (his song Rip It Up was recorded by Elvis), Otis Rush, Peter Crisps or Kendall Carson and drummer Andrew Caturano, who has backed artists like Otis Rush, Otis Blackwell and Bo Diddley The good chemistry that has always appeared among these three musicians, have led them to record this first album, where they combine roots rock with jazz, reggae, Americana music, soul, rhythm and blues and blues Fourteen songs round up an album where they have counted with the valuable collaboration of keyboard players Benny Harrison and Matt Detroy, Joe Meo on tenor sax and clarinet, Jammie Finegan on trumpet and Lissie Newman on backing vocals This is a broad-minded album, which reflect on different mirrors and a variety of paths that come together to meet in an album of an unquestionable and singular quality
