Led by brothers Dave Parker on guitar and vocals and Christian Moe Parker on guitar too, with this debut album The Waydown Wailers drive us to New York state country music, which was source of inspiration to The Band and other great artists of roots music Their music gathers influences that come from swamp rock and blues and they mix them with Americana in a stylistic well defined bright way both in form and content The result is a suggestive catching music that sometimes is full of shapes and nuances that remind late sixties and early seventies psychedelic All the music is combined with lyrics full of an overflowing imagination and high social content that reflect the actual world problems, which contribute to make this group be totally new and different from many other bands Besides brothers Parker, you will also find Connor Pelkey on bass and Michael Scriminger on drums and percussion, plus the valuable collaboration of Professor Louie on keyboards and Miss Marie on backing vocals
