This time I will put the stress on singer Ster Wax more than on piano player David Giorcelli, I have often talked about, every time he has published different albums, so now his career as boogie-woogie piano player is firmly established all over Spain.

Ster Wax is a woman with a unique beauty and personality. She is always open and willing to please the audience which, in her shows, give themselves up to her. Ster has also a voice full of nuances with powerful vocal ranges, she carefully measures along the whole repertoire she always displays with a passionate energy but, at the same time, with a charming commitment.

The album gathers thirteen cuts, most of them David Giorcelli’s own compositions, plus some versions of songs coming from Sam Cooke, Elmore James, Joe Turner, Eddie Cochran or Lavern Baker. With all these ingredients, you may easily Imagine their music includes blues, boogie-woogie, rock and roll and fifties rhythm and blues. Also mention the magnificent collaboration of Big Dani Pérez on tenor sax who, as usual, sounds powerful and greasy. The other musicians are Nicolás Dubouchet on bass and Reginald Vilardell on drums.
