In my opinion, this is the brightest and best round up album Watermelon Slim has published so far He sounds inspired and with more blues than ever in his body In every cut, in every song and in every minute, Slim captures the most rough and genuine spirit of the blues and he does it on a passionate and, at the same time, elegant way The emotional feeling he and all his musicians communicate is totally incredible and wild For more than five years Watermelon Slim has got a non stop success in the international scene and, in USA, he has been acclaimed since his debut in 2006 with NorthernBlues record label, where he continues by now Watermelon is an inimitable musician, with a unique variety of ranges in his songs, from the most genuine blues to the African-American gospel This is an album with an own identity and, although for some people it may seem there is a stylistic dispersion, this is not true A powerful sound and an excelent final production give the best environment to enhance the whole vocal parts as well as the rest of the instruments, whether acoustic or electric ones
