A duo coming from Caserta in the north of Italy, who have very clear ideas of what they want to do, know how to display them and have the right sound to develop they music they want to do Both musicians are prisoners of roots and down-home blues, but they also love Gerswhin jazz and swing, and even alternative quite radical sounds Warm Gun are Freddy Ghidelli on acoustic, electric and pedal steel guitars and Pieri Max, on vocals, bass and stomp box This Blues Virus is their second album (the first one was Invisibile Man and was published in 2005) and includes ten well defined cuts performed with originality and good taste, with mainly own songs plus George Gershwin’s Summertime, St Louis Jimmy Oden’s Goin ‘Down Slow and the traditional one Nobody’s Fault But Mine You will also find some guest musicians, Mario Insenga on percussion, Lino Muoio on mandolin and Edo Notarioberti on fiddle Edo A record for daring palates and fine gourmets
