Coming from Boston and Massachussetts music scene, Walk That Walk has an extensive experience and a legion of loyal fans who follow them with veneration wherever they play. More than eight hundred shows behind them, endorse the band career. They felt honored when they backed Chicago legendary singer and harmonica player Carey Bell and have also shared stage with Levon Helm, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Eric Burdon, Son Seals or Big Jack Johnson among others.
Leading the band, you will find guitar player and singer Poppa C DeSnyder and harmonica player Tim Gartland. Together with them are Ted Hastings Armstrong on keyboards, Dirk van Gulden on electric and double bass (although he recently passed away so the album becomes a tribute to him by the rest of the band) and Randi Laak on drums. For the album they have also counted with a handful of guests who enhance and give color and a chromatic sound to a repertoire formed by nine band original songs, all of them performed following the path of North and East coast electric blues tradition they adorn with details and a touch of roots music and roadhouse blues.
The band develops an appealing sound and good presence, thanks to a well-crafted repertoire and the experience of the many years they have been playing together. If you ever notice they will play in your area, do not hesitate and go to see them because they will not leave you indifferent.
