Not only Víctor Puertas is an excellent harmonica player and singer but he also stands out on piano and Hammond in the path of artists such as Raphael Wressnig or the great actual masters of this instrument. On the other hand Marc Ferrer is well known for his piano playing mastery and control, bringing technique and brightness to styles like swing, blues and jazz, as well as leading his own project on a trio format.

These two keys virtuosos have joined forces to release this album where they cleverly mix with a good dose of knowledge and quality styles such as blues, groove and jazz. They are perfectly backed by two outstanding Barcelona scene musicians like Pep Rius on guitar and Olivier Rocque on drums, plus the special collaboration of Big Dani Pérez on tenor sax in the song “Honest I Do”.

With such god and expertise ingredients the final result can’t be other than a more than interesting album where they have included eleven versions of songs coming from artists like George Benson, Jimmy Reed, Jimmy McCoy, Walter Jacobs or Fletcher Henderson to name a few. This is an album where the technique all these musicians gather prevails, they bring to listeners in an elegant recording, displayed with very good taste and exquisite final production, to delight those who look for a well done job.
