For a long time keyboard player Lucas Spinosa and promoter Mike David shared the idea of put Louisiana’s best singers and instrumentalists together in an album Finally thee two friends¡ dream has come true and the result is this excellent recording we have on hands The ten album songs are Lucas Spinosa’s own compositions, three of them written in collaboration with Nashville composer Billy E Henderson All songs present the variety of the different music styles and sounds that are now performed in Louisiana, with a special place to a really balsamic emotional soul Each song features a different singer which gives us the opportunity to savor the wonderful qualities, vocal tones and textures of Jason Parfait, Parker James, Wayne Toups, Don Rich, Bob Henderson, Kenny Neal, Chris LeBlanc, Gregg Martinez, Ryan Foret and Bryan Romano Behind them comes a perfectly greased machine that builds up excellent and colorful music, with Cranston Clements, Sonny Landreth and Bob Henderson on guitars, Lucas Spinosa on piano, Hammond B-3 and keyboards, Jason Parfait on tenor sax, Ian Smith on trumpet, trombone and flugelhorn, David Hyde on bass, Brian Brignac on drums and percussion and Elaine Foster and Taylor Lendon on backing vocals This is a superb bright recording, with a delicious superb production and mixing by Lucas Spinosa, Brian Brignac and Tony Daigle
