People say Chicago is the home of the blues for every harmonica player. Probably this is true if we take into account the cd we have at our hands. Dusty Brown, Larry Cox, Little Addison and Harmonica Khan are four venerable survivors of old Chicago blues school and their age goes between sixty and eighty. Russ Green is a little bit younger and finally the last harmonica player included on the cd, Omar Coleman, gives the youth touch, because he is only twenty-two. It is a classic cd with huge vocal and instrumental soundness. The powerful amplified harmonica sound will immediately trap you and immerse yourself into the atmosphere of an old Chicago south side blues club. The cd includes a selection of rough diamonds by rather unknown bluesmen but with an amazing quality. In short words it is a very honest deep emotional record.
