Las Vegas Blues Society in Nevada led by blues activist Dan Harrell proudly presents the first volume of a collection devoted to the blues that can actually be found in that city. The main reason to release this collection is not to make money but to introduce to fans the best musicians and bands coming from the first game city in the world, which may not really be popular to the blues lover, except a couple or three of them, but that thanks to this collection they will be documented for most listeners, who will be able to discover their amazing and undeniable talent, taste, swing and professionalism.

The album gathers twenty songs and ten artists where each of them presents two songs. For this first volume, Write Answer label counted with the participation of Leon Blue, Scott Rhiner & The Moanin’ Blacksnakes, Jimmy Carpenter, Junior Brantley & The Shuffle-Aires, Boyz In The Parking Lot feat. Billy Ray Charles, Monk & The Po’ Boys, Chris Tofield, Vegas Strip Kings feat. Billy Truitt Jimmy Carpenter & Al Ek, Trevor & The Swingin’ Johnsons and Carlos Guerrero & Friends.

For the European fans this album becomes an opportunity to discover a series of blues bands with an impressive and outstanding level that unfortunately very few of them will have, at least for the moment, the opportunity to be known and valued on this side of the Atlantic.

A fantastic recording that, in my opinion, becomes essential for anyone who likes the most genuine and real blues that is cooked nowadays. GREAT
