Every year Blind Raccoon in collaboration with Nola Blue and Blue Heart Records present a double album that includes songs of the clients who, during the year, have worked with them.

Now they have just released a new volume of this series, the fourth up to date. The sales profits go to the non-profit organization MusiCares, which provides help and assistance to music world people who are suffering need or difficulties, both in terms of financial or health care and even related with addiction problems.

As you can easily imagine, the variety of artists who contribute with a song to this double CD is immense, so it provides not only entertainment and diversity but also a wide tour around the new forms, varieties and sonorities of the most actual blues Blind Raccoon presents and promotes every year. Trudy Lynn, Teresa James & The Rhythm Tramps, David Gogo, Wily Bo Walker, Donna Herula, David Vest, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix or The Mary Jo Curry Band are few of the more than thirty artists who participate in this new volume of this interesting collection.

As a curiosity mention that, with ninety-six years old, the popular film and television actor Dick Van Dyke contributes with a song coming from his album “Step Back In Time”, produced by sax player Bill Bixler and recorded with a good line-up of musicians, where the actor shows a rather unknown facet, his love of the old blues standards.

This is a magnificent double album that will help listeners to get to know and catch up the blues that is now performed and the musicians who cook it.
