Formed in 2017 in Arizona, Until The Sun is a psychedelic blues rock band which take inspiration from the most incendiary 60’s and 70’s rock, thanks to the energy of singer Alyssa Swartz and the powerful guitar playing developed by Brandon Teskey who approach the songs with an unusual passion. The group includes in their music elements of alternative rock and psychedelia inspired by bands like Pink Floyd, with touches of jazz and blues styles.

Well known in Arizona’s rock circles, they now want to make themselves known internationally by releasing this album that includes fourteen songs, most of them written by guitar player Brandon Teskey.

Alyssa Swartz proves to be deeply influenced by Jefferson Airplane former singer Grace Slick, without forgetting names like Janis Joplin you will also find some references in her voice.

As I have just mentioned, Alyssa Swartz is on vocals, Brandon Teskey plays guitar, bass, sitar and vocals and Chris Tex is on drums. For the album the band has also counted with keyboard players Michael Young and Will Kyriazis in the song “Space For Leaving” as well as the backing vocals of Lori Cooper and Karee Kudebeh. With their good work all them contribute to create a wrapping energetic atmosphere you will immediately feel along the album songs, all them rooted in the rock that was played in California during the late sixties and seventies.
