Formed at the end of the year 2010, Tweed Funk have increased his popularity in Wisconsin area, where there have settled his headquarters, thanks to a varied dynamic and joyful repertoire, mainly including Memphis blues, roots music and soul, all them adapted to the band personality Come Together is the fourth album till now In this new recording the band has focussed the efforts to include a bunch of songs where the main accent is in the quality instead a commercial purpose, although this last one is already implicit along the ten album songs Tweed Funk have fully devoted to this project, looking for a careful personal sound too and a good approach to that vintage sound of those charming mythical sixties and seventies soul and funk bands To get it they count with a really teamed horn section and the special and valuable collaboration of Roomful of Blues’ trumpet player Dough Woolverton If you love black dancing music of legendary Tamla, Stax or, in general, the music of that time, then do not think twice, these are your guys
