After five years from publishing his first album entitled A New Day Coming, Swedish musician Trond Olsen and his blues band came back to the recording studio to produce this excellent album Trod shows he is in top form, both with the guitar and his voice, supported by a magnificent band with amazing musicians The cd gathers eleven good tracks, covering various styles like blues, soul and rock Most songs have been written by Trond, plus an excellent version of Come On In My Kitchen coming from Robert Johnson, that opens the cd The band players are Trond Olsen guitar and vocals, Lars Hammersland piano and organ, Frank Hovland bass and Morten Bergstrom drums A special mention to the contribution of Buddy Whittington as guest musician on guitar and vocals in a couple of songs, that will delight all those who listen to him, as not in vain and for more than fifteen years he was member of John Mayall’s band and he also shared stage with Eric Clapton and Gary Moore In short words, this is an album that will satisfy the expectations of most contemporary blues loves by the great and good music collected in each and every song
