Once again Travis ‘Moonchild’ Haddix brings us an album full of energy, overflowing bursting quality and feeling Ten songs where Texas blues magic completes thirty five minutes of good real blues, that comes from the deepest part of his heart on a lively performing where he always gives the best of himself on an extreme passionate performing As ever Haddix does a honest intense playing in every song he records, because he believes on what he is doing, as blues has been all his life leitmotiv Some of Travis’ own songs have got soul arrangements which sometimes remind us Johnny Copeland or BB King styles but, the majority, have his own musical stamp, that is to say, the style of a musician who does not get away from classic blues, soul and funk, giving his personal vision and blues experience to them The cd was originally published by Travis’ own record label Wann-Sonn, so let’s hope this new reissue for Earwig record company, gives him a great success and benefits
