Singer and guitar player Travis Haddix originally started learning to play piano when he was seven year old That happened in his hometown Walnut, Mississippi, close to Memphis, Tennessee When he was eight years old, B B King came to Memphis to host a blues radio show at WDIA radio station When Travis listened King playing guitar live on that radio shows, he felt deeply impressed so he decided to leave up piano and devote all his efforts to guitar Travis Haddix’ musical career is extensive and very successful, he was member of Johnnie Taylor’s band and he also worked for Artie ‘Bluesboy’ White putting his guitar in five albums His songs have been sung by a bunch of musicians and colleagues like Michael Burks, Charles Wilson, Lee Shot Williams, Jimmy Dawkins or Son Seals The album includes eighteen great cuts, some new ones and some others taken from his previous albums as Shootum Up, Old Man In Love, Sings Of The Time, A Dozen Times, Company Is Coming, Old & Easy, Man Old Yesterday or Daylight And Midnight among others In short words and as title says, the album is a Best Of with some new songs too
