Born in 1988 near Cincinnati, Ohio, Travis Bowlin had his first contact with music singing in the Cincinnati Boy Choir where he became a deep lover of roots music, getting deeply involved in most school musical projects At the age of fifteen he became interested in learning guitar and, after finishing his studies, he started to work hard to consolidate his career as a professional musician In 2012 he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he regularly played and did his first recordings that helped him to learn about music industry In 2015 and 2016 some of his songs reached the charts and Travis began to receive his first awards and recognitions from specialized media This is his second studio album with a repertoire full of rock, soul and blues In Travis own words, the curious title of Secundus, not only means second in Latin but, besides saying he found inspiration by John Lee Hooker’s song Mr Lucky, the word also means being lucky or favourable, so this is what Travis wants to express, as his sincere thanks to play music and make a living doing what he most likes in the difficult music business Twelve fresh, juicy and very attractive own compositions displayed with a singer and guitar player who appears with an amazing strength and a promising future ahead
