At the beginning The Travellin’ Blue Kings were a band formed with Belgian and Dutch musicians. This line-up with musicians coming from both countries was difficult to keep and manage for practical and creative reasons, so the group decided to renew themselves only including Belgian musicians, all of them of an undeniable quality.

The band now includes five renowned musicians who have worked and performed with their groups in many European countries and, of course, all over Belgium.

After publishing two singles during the Covid pandemic, they now present this new release with eleven exquisite own compositions, which show the technique, passion and knowledge these musicians have developed over the years. Led by JB Biesmans on vocals, tenor sax, harmonica and composition, the other band members are Jimmy Hontelé on guitar and vocals, Patrick Cuyvers on Hammond, piano and vocals, Winne Penninckx on bass and Marc Gijbels on drums.

A really commendable album for many different concepts where listeners will be able to taste from the most classic blues to a more daring contemporary rhythms, all of them displayed with an amazing elegance, good taste and a great chromatic brightness.
