Despite he is well known as Too Slim, this musician is a real big great guitar player who, together with his band The Taildraggers, has just released his last recording for VizzTone Records The album includes ten own compositions and a cover of Elmore James’ song Sunnyland Train, that follow the path of the most original blues-rock with flaming incendiary guitars, plus some banjo and slide touches, as well as some good matched vocal harmonies by the band members who are Zach Kasik on bass, banjo and vocals and Jeff Shakey Fowlkes on drums, percussion and vocals Three brilliant guest harmonica players can also be found in the album, Sheldon Bent Reed Ziro on a couple of tracks, Jason Ricci and Richard Rosy Rosemblatt, each one in one song This is a more than interesting album that allows us to discover the evolution of these relevant musicians in styles like the just mentioned blues rock or the Americana music, along with some small touches of dark psychedelic blues
