For those of you who are not familiar with singer and guitar player Tommy Z, my advice would be not to let a minute go to discover this fantastic musician. This new album is a good way to do it, thanks to the good selected eleven songs that count with the excellent production of Tom Hambridge and Tommy Z himself. Both have done a more than remarkable work, not only in terms of creativity but also in the really bright final result. Coming from Buffalo, New York, Tommy develops all his powerful sound machinery combining classic and contemporary blues and some pop, rock, jazz and funk touches, as well as a bright, pristine guitar phrasing. In recent years Tommy has toured extensively in USA, Europe, South America and Africa. A wide team of musicians collaborate in the album, contributing with their good work to round out an attractive recording in itself, thanks to the varied energetic sounds and the strength you will find over the nearly sixty minutes of good music. In short words, a worthy really appetizing album that will make you savor an enjoy the work of a musician who cleverly knows what he does, what he wants to achieve and what he has on hands.
