Gifted with elegant technique and great sensibility, Tom Rigney gives us a passionate wide range of different styles, deeply rooted in the rich Louisiana musical tradition Cajun, blues, zydeco, rock & roll and lots New Orleans groove can be found on what he and his band, The Flambeau, give us on this unique and very special album Twelve songs with a rich varied instrumentation, including fiddle, pedal steel guitar, clarinet, drums, piano, bass and guitar The repertoire follows a very traditional path, although many songs are Rigney own compositions, all them showing clever arrangements and beautiful harmonies Off The Hook is an irresistible record that reflects the magic feeling, rich originality and constant evolution of this excellent band
