Here comes a new acoustic album by Cambaya/Karonte factory This time, they present a duo with the voice and guitar of Tom Larden, an American musician now settled in Spain, and the harmonica player Allfreedom This is not a pure blues album, because they include a good sample of other styles, such as folk, gospel, country, Americana, and traditional blues The cd gathers fourteen songs, all them recorded live at Cambaya Club in March, 24th 2012 We are facing an intimistic cd, full of protest songs that, although they may seem they come from past times, still have a valid actual effect, in racial, political, ethical or human aspects The album atmosphere is the same that could be felt in any club of Greenwich Village in New York during the sixties Smoky crowded clubs where people listened to old beatnik protest singers like Bob Dylan or Dave Van Ronk, to only mention two of the most popular ones, who totally reflected those times feelings
