This man is a crack, a real master, a musician who like nobody else mastery knows the language and different flavors of country blues and gospel. Tom Feldmann is simply amazing. Gifted with a fine unaffected sensitivity, Tom successfully combines different ways and genres of roots music with very good taste. he does it from the deepest tradition, always with the clear transparence of the crystalline waters of southern lakes when the first sunlight rays appear in the break of a spring day. In this “Lone Wolf Blues”, Tom Feldmann gives free rein to his mastery performing and passionate feelings along sixteen wonderful songs, only backed by his own acoustic guitar, slide and voice. Songs coming from Blind Willie Johnson, Blind Boy Fuller, Bukka White, Reverend Gary Davis, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Barbecue Bob or Son House among others come in for more than forty-five minutes of music, in a complete communion with those great names. A real gospel and blues festival that will get you goose bumps.
