Bright new work of singer, song-writer and guitar player Todd Wolfe who again comes out reinforced with Stripped Down At The Bang Palace new release Tod is backed by Suavek Zaniesienko on bass and Roger Voss on drums and both are the perfect rhythm section to make Todd shine with his intense emotional guitar phrasing and wide range of his fireworking resources You will also find two guest musicians, Sarah Ayers on vocals and Rich Frikkers on percussion and thirteen cuts of pure rock/blues and power blues Wolfe combines his own songs, like Wing Of A Dove, Roll Over and Light Of Day with covers, that come from Elmore James, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon or Eddie Taylor, but always done with his particular view of tempo, rhythm and, over all, his conception and music structure As usual, songs are long with a careful right display A rocky worthy work specially devoted to those of you who love powerful effective rock/blues music
