For many long and fruitful years, Todd Wolfe has been always considered as one of the electric guitar aces, especially due to his fine, technical and good stylistic work with artists like Sheryl Crow, Carla Olson or Leslie West But it has been with his own band where Todd has managed to find and develop a unique sound that has shot him up to the top, giving him an enormous prestige among hard blues, rock blues or power blues fans This new album is filled with a good mixture of roots blues and seventies rock which does not sound like an uninspired plain revival, but something new, original, suggestive and especially cool Ten original songs plus two versions, Outside Woman Blues coming from the legendary Cream and Black Queen by Stephen Stills Besides Todd Wolfe on guitar and vocals, the other musicians involved are Roger Voss on drums and backing vocals, Justine Gardner on bass and backing vocals and the comeback of the acclaimed John Ginty on Hammond B-3 This is an album that will delight all fans and followers of Wolfe’s original music, as well as all those people who feel crazy with the electrifying fireworks of actual guitar players
