Singer, guitar player and song-writer Timo Gross has seen his dreams come true, After more than a decade working as ‘sideman’ for other musicians, he has finally produced an album under his own name Recorded a couple of years ago, the cd includes twelve delightful songs, all Timo’s own compositions, except Bobby Bland’s Further On Up and Otis Rush’s All Your Love Down To The Delta brings Gross backed by two old friends, Michael Siegwart on drums and Frowin Icklercon on bass, who share with Timo the mission of spreading blues to completely different audiences Gross has also recruited some saxos and keyboards, which complete an excellent superb piece of work The trio has received fairly good reviews on the blues circles they move German blues magazines ‘Bluesnews Magazine’ and ‘Meier Magazine’ have defined them as one of the coolest modern urban blues band of the German musical scene In short words, a band which know well different blues styles and perform them with a lot of passion, commitment and great feeling
