Great band which pleasantly combines traditional blues with more contemporary elements, like some funk and rock drops The album was recorded in the studios of guitar player Brad Webb, a close friend of the band leader, the guitarist, composer and singer ‘Dangerous’ Don Cook Dan and Brad (who also plays slide guitar in the album), were friends since the 70’s, as they had been playing on a three guitars group Later on, during the 90’s, they were also backing bluesman Blind Mississippi Morris, touring with him and playing in many clubs, bars and cafes of Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee You will find quite a few musicians in this album, all them friends of both musicians, such as the previously mentioned Blind Mississippi Morris, harmonica, John Burgess drums, Dan Cochran (who had played in England with Bill Buford of Yes band), bass or Mark Crawley, keyboards among other able musicians who tastefully develop a powerful vibrant record filled with an attractive spirit, along all suggestive and well built songs included in the cd
