Piano player Victor Wainwright and guitar and bass player Stephen Dees want to celebrate their fruitful years of mutual collaboration they started in 2005 with this album, forming a very special line-up named The WildRoots Victor and Stephen thought they should record an album that included all the musicians and singers who have collaborated with them in the past years The recording gathers a wide variety of musicians, influences and styles Let me only mention the roster of singers who have collaborated: John Oates, Beth McKee, Nick Black, Stephen Dees, Patricia Ann Dees, Anthony ‘Packrat’ Thompson, Robert ‘Top’ Thomas, Billy Livesay, Mark Hodgson and Chris Merrell And if this was not enough, Victor and Stephen have counted with an unbelievable cast of musicians and guests who, with their amazing qualities as instrumentalists, have contributed to magnify and round up a superb album where, each of the sixteen songs included, keeps its own personality, thanks to the huge variety, color, intensity, style and fine technique given the musicians who contribute with their particular vision and personality to enhance music styles like blues, soul or roots rock ‘n’ roll
