From New England, The Wildcat O’Halloran Band presents his unique genuine way to play the blues. In these difficult pandemic times where almost no live shows, the band aims to communicate the spirit of their gigs, with a repertoire where they combine own compositions with versions of some classic blues songs like “Angel of Mercy” coming from Herner Banks & Raymond Jackson, “Devil’s Hand” by Johnny Copeland, “Mary Ann” by Ray Charles and “Worried About You” by Chester Burnett, they display in a very personal way with the commitment of those who are truly caught by the spirit of blues, together with a really humoristic lyrics. Wildcat O’Halloran leads the band, plays guitar and sings, Emily Duff blows sax, Dave Kenderian plays bass and Mark Chouinard is on drums. As they sometimes say with their sense of humor “if coronavirus leads us to live the end of times, this recording may be our best and last album”. So, folks, you have no other choice than enjoy this album over and over until the end of your days.
