Belgian band The Wild Ones doesn’t like to categorize themselves in any musical genre They do not care about fashion or popular musical styles The only thing they are interested about is to play the music they feel which comes out of the depths of their hearts That being said, it should also be pointed out their main influence comes from roots music and especially blues and rockabilly, styles that can be immediately recognized, not only in the music but also in the band attitude and stage presence After listening to their two previous albums, it becomes evident they have always done the music they most liked If in the 80’s they were pioneers, now they are respected for their genuine attitude and pragmatism that comes from a repertoire with no other ingredients than their sincere raw straightforward and with no ambiguities style Twelve songs round up an album where Wild One Dee on vocals, Vic Brett on harmonicas, Ricky Brewster on guitars, slide and steel guitar, Jack O Roonie on bass and vocals and Donald Steens on drums and vocals, show they are pure dynamite that will catch your body and soul Pay attention and be ready if the band comes to your town, as you will have to assimilate their adrenalinic music and have a good control of yourself
