The name of this powerful band says everything Really ‘tone masters’, The Tonemasters have a compact bright hard sound, together with a horn section, who are a perfect machine to produce swing in the path of it was done during the forties The horn section musicians are Neal Pawley on trombone, Mel Taylor on tenor sax and Buddy Terry on alto and tenor sax Terry has belonged to Ray Charles, Count Basie and Lloyd Price orchestras, so you can easily imagine how they sound The rest of the musicians are Ron Rauso on guitar, Bobby ‘Blues’ Marchie on vocals and drums, Dave Post (also member of The Swingadelics band) on bass and double bass and Tommy ‘T-Bone’ Stinson on piano and keyboards You will find thirteen splendid songs on this effective superb bright cd, that has been recorded with a tremendous love, joy, hapiness and over all a great taste If you like The Roomful of Blues and other West Coast jump bands, Texas blues or Kansas City style combos and orchestras, you will surely fall in love with The Tonemasters
