Some contemporary good boogie-woogie, groove, a spice of powerful rock and roll, blues and a few jazz drops, is what you will find in this album Steve Wiggins takes the spirit of sixties and seventies black music pioneers, obviously performed from the sunny Florida land he comes from Steve was born in September 1958 he grew up listening to guys like Greg Allman, Chuck Leavell, John Lee Hooker or Jimmy Smith Since the on, he starte to create, form and develop his own style, picking up these and many other influences, you will gradually discover while you listen and soak into this wonderful album Eleven songs, some own ones and the rest coming from different musicians such as James Taylor, John Lee Hooker, Herbie Hancock and others less known names Stevie Wiggins, keyboards and vocals on the song Dimples, Lenwood Cherry Jr drums and main vocals, Bruce Hebert bass and vocals in two songs and finally Wally Tirado on saxophone are the four musicians who have done this cd A varied interesting album that openly reflects the path these musicians are walking on
